Worldwide Fatima Sanctity of Life Day
One Day ...For more information please visit The WAF USA website.
One Hundred Million Prayers For Life & Peace
October 18, 2009
Register your prayers here as we offer 100,000,000 Prayers to Heaven for Life and Peace. Your name will be placed at the Fatima Apparition Site at the Fatima Shrine in Portugal. Also, a Candle will be lit at the Shrine and Prayers said for the Intentions of all who join us in prayer for Life and Peace.
One World Praying has been part of the apostolate logo for decades. Prayer changes things, and perhaps “Now More Than Ever” we are in need of Gods help to transform the world from a Godless culture to a God centered one. It is apparent that as cultures throughout the world have turned their backs on God, they decay.
Everywhere I speak, whether it be to a hundred people or thousands I ask the question, “How many of you believe the world is in serious trouble today?” Across the nation and around the world every hand goes up. I believe bringing God back into our cultures will take a lot of hard work and a miracle, but I believe in hard work and I believe in miracles.
On Sunday October 18th of this year we will again send 100,000,000 prayers to heaven for Life and Peace on Worldwide Fatima Sanctity of Life Day. We ask all of America and the rest of the world to join us to listen to great speakers, hear great music, celebrate Holy Mass and Pray as EWTN TV broadcasts what will take place at the National Blue Army Shine of Our Lady of Fatima in Washington, NJ and other events from around the world. Some participating nations will hold events and ask people of all faiths to pray for Life and Peace on October 4th.

New Fatima Movie - The 13th Day
The 13th Day
Based on the memoirs of the oldest Seer, Lucia Santos, and many thousands of independent eye-witness accounts, The 13th Day dramatizes the TRUE story of three young shepherds who experienced six interactive apparitions with a “Lady from Heaven” between May and October 1917, which culminated into the final prophesized Miracle.

The Message of Fatima
The MessageSource
The Message of Fatima is an invitation and a school of salvation. It was initiated by the Angel of Peace (1916) and completed by Our Lady (1917). It was lived, to a heroic degree, by the three Little Shepherds.
The Message of Fatima, which is that of the Gospel, emphasizes the following points:
- permanent conversion;
- prayer, and namely the Rosary;
- the sense of collective responsibility and the practice of reparation.
The acceptance of the Message brings with it Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which is a symbol of commitment to faithfulness and to the apostolate.
E Komo Mai to the World Apostolate of Fatima Hawaii Division
It is our sincerest pleasure to announce that the Diocese of Honolulu has authorized the World Apostolate of Fatima, Hawaii Division to be established.
We will be bringing you information on this Marian apostolate so be sure to check back regularly. We will also have information on how to become a member.
I would like to share a little background with you on how this new apostolate came to Hawaii.
I first learned about the Blue Army Shrine, the former name of the World Apostolate of Fatima, from my sister's friend, now my husband. He had shared a beautiful magazine, Soul Magazine with her and we wanted to learn more. Even though we lived in New Jersey, we were unaware of this apostolate.
Pretty soon our family was making regular yearly pilgrimages to the shrine located in Washington, New Jersey and have since become members of the World Apostolate of fatima.
A wonderful lady Connie Schneider and I became email friends. Connie is in charge of the Children of the Eucharist - World Apostolate of Fatima. She kept encouraging me to bring the WAF to Hawaii. At first I made all kinds of excuses...I was too busy with other Catholic works, the bishop would never give us permission, etc.
Connie persisted and put me in touch with Nuno Prazeres, the WAF International Secretariat. Nuno was kind enough to offer help if I needed it to start a Hawaii Division.
I knew I could not do this alone. I felt drawn to speak to my friend Josephine, the co-coordinator about being called to start the Hawaii Division. She excitedly told me that she felt the same calling!
Well, time passed and one day at the 2007 March for Life, which is the only time I seem to have an opportunity to speak to our bishop, Josephine and I spoke briefly to Bishop Silva about the WAF and I gave him information on the World Apostolate of Fatima. We did not except to hear from the bishop knowing how very busy he is.
In the early summer of 2008, I found a phone message from the Judicial Vicar's office with regard to our request for the World Apostolate of Fatima Hawaii Division. The Diocese was interested in learning more about the WAF Hawaii Division.
With the guidance and help from Joe Borek, the National Coordinator of the WAF, we worked on obtaining everything required by the Diocese in order to get approval.
Before we knew it, we had the bishop's permission and blessing to officially begin the World Apostolate of Fatima's Hawaii Division. Right now, we have a board of trustees and we have a spiritual director. We do have to finalize incorporation procedures for a non-profit organization and find more members.
I hope you consider becoming a member of Mary's blue army, the World Apostolate of Fatima.
Thank you and God bless,
Esther
