May the Divine Infant of Bethlehem,
Whom we adore and acknowledge to be our Sovereign Lord,
come and take birth in our hearts;
And may the message His Holy Mother delivered to the world at Fatima in 1917 soon be taken to heart by all so that the peace on earth wished for mankind by the angels at Bethlehem and echoed by the Angel of Peace at Fatima may finally come to our world and the salvation of souls be achieved.

History Channel Airs Fatima Message

From the World Apostolate of Fatima, An Association of Pontifical Right

Watch or Record the International History Channel (H2) on Thursday for a full hour on Fatima on secular TV. Look for the Nostradamus Effect: Fatima's Lost Prophecy, this is a one hour segment of a 13 part series that has aired many times on the US History Channel. Showings by time zone are: ET 1pm, 7pm, CT 12pm, 6pm, MT 11am, 5pm, PT 1pm, 7pm.

In 1917, three young shepherd children from the small town of Fatima, Portugal, claim to be instruments of divine prophecy. The children report being visited by the Virgin Mary. Three haunting visions of death and destruction are revealed, but the children are forbidden to give details. Two of the children die within three years of receiving their visions. The third, Lucia, shares the three "secrets" with the Vatican. The Vatican debates the girl's stories.

Could three children from a poor town have really been touched by divinity? And what of the visions? Lucia claimed the first vision revealed souls burning in a fiery hell. The second foretold the outbreak of World War II and the dangers of Communism. But the third was guarded closely by the Vatican until the year 2000. The final Fatima prophecy revealed an angel with a flaming sword setting the world on fire.

WAF Honolulu Division - Annual Rosary in the Park

Thanks to a lovely and dedicated woman, Josephine and of course, her many assistants, we were blessed to have another wonderful afternoon of Rosary in the Park.  This is a local annual event to commemorate Our Lady of Fatima's last apparition on October 13, 1917.  This year was extra special as our dear Bishop Larry joined the faithful in honoring our beautiful blessed mother!  It was also the first time a shower of blessing (rain) fell while the sun was still shining.  It reminded me of what the people must have experienced the day the sun danced.

The gathering started with our bishop leading us in prayer.  Then that was followed by the procession around the park.  Our Lady's statue was crowned with a beautiful Haku lei and roses.  We then chanted the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 p.m. or a little past that time.  We prayed the Luminous Mysteries...mostly in the rain and then we renewed our total Consecration (St. Louis de Montfort).  The bishop gave his final blessing and we all left...very happy participants in a very joyful event.

Thousands of Youngsters to Offer Mary a Golden Rose



ST. PAUL, Minnesota, SEPT. 27, 2011 (Zenit.org).- Thousands of children will gather at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, [0.8327759197324415] D.C., next month to offer Our Lady a "Golden Rose" and to pray before the Holy Eucharist.

The youngsters will represent children from 140 nations who will participate Oct. 7 in the 9th annual Worldwide Children's Eucharistic Holy Hour, which will be broadcast live around the world on Eternal [0.5768261964735516] World Television Network (EWTN), and translated for Spanish-speaking countries.


The "Holy Hour unites children around the world before the Blessed Sacrament to console the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus and to pray for the families of the world, a mission entrusted to them by Blessed John Paul II in his Christmas Letter to the World's Children, in 1994, at the close of the International Year of the Family."


Archbishop Gregory Aymond of New Orleans will preside at the main event in the basilica, which is co-sponsored by Children of the Eucharist, the children's program of the World Apostolate of Fatima, and the Holy Childhood Association.



A growing number of dioceses, parishes and schools on every continent are participating in the event every year, according to Connie Schneider, founder and international chairwoman.

She added, "This global Holy Hour gathers our children before the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus to console him, as requested by the Angel of Peace at Fatima, and to pray for our own families and the families of the world."

Annual Public Rosary in Honor of Our Lady of Fatima

Public Rosary on October 13, 2010

On October 13th we honor the last apparition of Our Lady of Fatima (October 13, 1917) by holding a public rosary. Please join the World Apostolate of Fatima, Honolulu Division, the Legion of Mary and all faithful Catholics in praying the Holy Rosary in a public forum...Thomas Square Park, Honolulu, Hawaii.

The program is as follows:

3:00 p.m. Chaplet of Divine Mercy (Chanted)

3:20 p.m. The Most Holy Rosary
